As a child growing up in London I was captivated by the lure of fast cars and motorcycles. Be it on two wheels, or four, here you were never far from the glamour and style of the Motor & Motorsports Industry, and indeed the Accessories that came with it. From the Great Portland Street “Motor Accessories” stores to the Earls Court Motor Show, and the “rarified” outfitters of New Bond Street in between, one brand always stood out for me and that was Everoak. From an early age I was drawn to the longevity and origins of the brand. For me it was always the Everoak “Racemaster” helmet. In a Cooper race car or on a Vincent Black Shadow not only did your headgear need to look good but it had to serve a vital purpose. “Wise Heads wear Everoak” was a mantra worth repeating. Over the years I collected some fantastic pieces, some of which you see in this tribute to Everoak here. Eventually I tracked down the man (and family) literally behind the name; Everitt William VERO. Bill to you and me! He indulged my passion and in fact deepened it. Following on from his Father, his drive, determination, business acumen, and most importantly his expertise, has delivered a legacy so significant that every “Wise Head” on the planet today now benefits from his tireless and dedicated work, conducted over many decades. To the man who “welcomes” everyone and remains humble to this day we thank you Bill for your contribution to road and track safety. Delivered with style and always with a smile.
